Why it pays off
One day teaches a skill you use every time you bring an idea to your boss. You build a prototype people can click, test it before anyone writes code, and ask for a next step that is easy to approve.
Your company gets a product person who turns ideas into tested prototypes in a day, without waiting for a sprint. That means fewer features built on a hunch, and shorter meetings about what to build next.

of product people name leadership escalations as what most often overrides their priorities.

What you learn
Three moves between an idea and a yes.
You practise all three on one shared brief with a real buyer behind it. Then you run them on your own ideas at work.
Build
make the idea realSKILL 01
Decide what is worth building
Find the belief the idea rests on, and the smallest thing that could prove it or kill it.
Ability: you can point at a roadmap item and name the one thing worth testing first.
SKILL 02
Build it with AI, no code
Plain English in, a working app at a URL out. You build only what the test validates.
Ability: you can show a working screen where you used to show a slide.
Test
fix what users stumble on, plan the first customer signalsSKILL 03
Improve it with synthetic users and your table
Synthetic users and the real people at your table go through it. You fix what trips them up and run it again.
Ability: you can find usability problems in an afternoon, before anyone writes production code.
SKILL 04
Design the test that could kill it
Who you test with, what you measure, what it costs, and the number that means go.
Ability: you can run a first customer test even on the next day, without a research budget.
Pitch
defend it and ask for the decisionSKILL 05
Pitch it to the people who decide
Three minutes, rehearsed at your table with questions, then in front of the room.
Ability: you can take an idea to your CEO, head of product or an investor and ask for a next step.
The decisionmade on what people did.
Usually half of the pitches were cut off mid-sentence. That is why the pitch is on the syllabus, with time to rehearse it.
Your three minutes
Pitching: the skill you need, trained here.
01
The thing on screen
Show it working. People believe what they can click.
02
The belief you bet on
The one assumption that has to be true.
03
What users did with it
Where they stumbled, and what you fixed.
04
The test that could kill it
Who, what it costs, when, and the number that means go.
05
Your ask
One decision they can make today.
Why pitching matters
Imagine you get three minutes in the next roadmap meeting and your pitch lands. Then come the questions. You answer that you already built the prototype, tested it with users and found the first signals that it is worth investing. That is why it matters.

What people said about each move
Build
"The most exciting part was seeing an idea go from a rough concept to something tangible in such a short time."
Test
"Every piece of feedback was detailed enough for the team to discuss it, extract something useful and improve our current version."
Test
"A single test run provides a lot of valuable groundwork for sharpening hypotheses and preparing better questions for interviews with real people."
Pitch
"The presentation, along with its spontaneous, ad-hoc atmosphere, was the defining moment of Product Day and one I will remember for a long time."

A note to your manager
Before you decide
A few practical answers.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You need to be comfortable with web tools and talking about product work in English. A short call the week before covers the setup. Bring your laptop.
Can I bring my own idea?
On the day everyone builds against the same brief, so the room can compare real work and nobody defends a pet idea by reflex. The 45-minute follow-up is where you run the method on yours.
Who do I pitch to on the day?
Your table first, three minutes with their questions, then selected demos for the whole room. It is the rehearsal for the pitch you give your own decision-makers.
What certificate do I receive?
A certificate of completion with your name, the five skills, 8 hours of training and a credential ID for LinkedIn.
How does my company pay?
The invoice goes to your company: €690 net per seat until 31 October, €790 net after that, VAT shown separately where German rules require it. Pay by card or by bank transfer against a pro forma.
Can I request a seat while I wait for approval?
Yes. Pick "I need employer approval" in the form. You get the venue, the invoice total and the cancellation terms to take to your manager. Nothing is charged at that point.
